Reform, Alabama is a small town located in Pickens County, in the west-central part of the state. The town is situated at the intersection of Alabama State Route 17 and Alabama State Route 14. Reform has a humid subtropical climate, with hot, humid summers and mild winters. The town was founded in 1836 and was originally known as "Reformville". The town's name was changed to "Reform" in 1841. Reform has a rich history and heritage, and is home to several historic sites, including the Reform Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
