Redfield, Arkansas, is a small town located in Jefferson County, Arkansas, United States. It is situated at the crossroads of U.S. Highway 167 and Arkansas Highway 365, approximately 15 miles southeast of Pine Bluff and 45 miles southwest of Little Rock. The town has a humid subtropical climate, with hot, humid summers and mild winters. Redfield was founded in 1882 by the St. Louis, Iron Mountain and Southern Railway Company and was named after John Redfield, a railroad official. The town's economy was historically based on agriculture, but it has since diversified to include manufacturing, retail, and tourism.
