Ralston, Nebraska, is a city located in Douglas County, United States, just southwest of Omaha. The city has a humid continental climate, with hot, humid summers and cold, dry winters. Ralston was founded in 1887 by the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad. The city is home to the Ralston Arena, a 17,000-seat multi-purpose arena that is the home of the Omaha Lancers hockey team.
