Rājūra is a city in the Chandrapur district of the Indian state of Maharashtra. Located at the confluence of the Wardha and Pranhita rivers, Rājūra has a tropical savanna climate with hot summers and mild winters. It was later ruled by the Marathas and the Nizams of Hyderabad before becoming part of independent India in 1947.
