Quarryville, Pennsylvania, is a small town located in southern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, approximately 20 miles southwest of Lancaster City. It has a humid continental climate with hot, humid summers and cold, snowy winters. The town was founded in 1734 by German immigrants and was originally known as "Steinbruch" (German for "quarry"). Quarryville's heritage is primarily German, and the town is home to several historic buildings and landmarks, including the Quarryville United Methodist Church, which was built in 1854.
