Püssi is a town in Ida-Virumaa, Estonia, located on the Purtse River, 19 kilometers (12 mi) east of Rakvere. It has a population of 1,053 (as of 2011) and an area of 2.32 square kilometers (0.90 sq mi). The town was first mentioned in 1582 as Neu-Isenhof. In 1917, it was renamed Püssi. The town is home to a number of historical sites, including the Püssi Manor, which was built in the 18th century. The town is also home to a number of museums, including the Püssi Museum, which tells the story of the town's history.
