Polverara is a comune in the Veneto region of Italy. It is located in the province of Padua, about 30 kilometers northwest of Venice. The climate is humid subtropical, with hot, humid summers and cool, wet winters. Polverara has a rich history, dating back to the Roman era. The town was once a Roman military camp, and later became a medieval fortress. In the 15th century, Polverara was conquered by the Republic of Venice. The town remained under Venetian rule until the 18th century, when it was ceded to Austria. Polverara became part of the Kingdom of Italy in 1866.
