Phlapphla Chai is a district in Buriram Province, Thailand. It is located in the central part of the province, about 30 kilometers east of the provincial capital. The district has a population of about 50,000 people and an area of about 600 square kilometers. The weather in Phlapphla Chai is tropical, with hot, humid summers and cool, dry winters. The district has a long history, dating back to the Khmer Empire. The area was once part of the Khmer kingdom of Angkor, and there are still many ruins of Khmer temples in the district. Phlapphla Chai is also home to a number of important Buddhist temples, including Wat Phlapphla Chai, which is one of the most important temples in the province.
