Pettenasco is a commune in the Province of Novara in the Italian region Piedmont. It is located on the western shore of Lake Orta, about 80 kilometers northeast of Turin. The climate is temperate, with hot summers and mild winters. The town has a long history, dating back to the Roman era. It was part of the Duchy of Savoy from the 14th century until the 19th century. Pettenasco is home to a number of historical buildings, including the 15th-century Church of San Maurizio and the 17th-century Palazzo dei Marchesi Avogadro di Collobiano.
