Pegram, Tennessee, is a small town located in Cheatham County, just northwest of Nashville. The town has a humid subtropical climate, with hot summers and mild winters. Pegram was founded in 1835 and was named after Major John Pegram, a hero of the War of 1812. The town is home to several historic sites, including the Pegram House, which was built in 1837 and is now a museum.
