Paulhaguet is a commune in the Haute-Loire department in south-central France. It is located in the Auvergne region, in the Massif Central, at an altitude of 640 m (2,100 ft) above sea level. The town has a population of around 900 people. The climate is temperate, with average temperatures ranging from 3°C (37°F) in January to 18°C (64°F) in July. Paulhaguet has a long history, dating back to the Roman era. It was once a fortified town, and the remains of its medieval walls can still be seen today. The town is also home to a number of historic buildings, including the Church of Saint-Julien, which dates back to the 12th century.
