Pangao is a municipality in the province of Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines. It is located on the southern coast of the Zamboanga Peninsula, and is bordered by the municipalities of Pitogo to the north, Tukuran to the east, and Labangan to the west. The municipality has a total land area of 124.9 square kilometers and a population of 32,934 people as of 2020. The weather in Pangao is tropical, with an average temperature of 27 degrees Celsius. The municipality is home to a number of historical and heritage sites, including the Pangao Church, which was built in the 19th century, and the Pangao Fort, which was built in the 18th century.
