Oxford, New Jersey, also known as Oksford, is a township located in Warren County, approximately 40 miles west of New York City. The area experiences a humid continental climate with hot, humid summers and cold, snowy winters. Its history dates back to the 18th century when it was settled by English Quakers and Dutch farmers. Oxford played a significant role in the American Revolutionary War as a supply depot for General George Washington's army.
