Orange Park is a town in Clay County, Florida, United States, located on the west bank of the St. Johns River. It has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and mild, dry winters. The town was founded in 1875 by a group of settlers from Orange County, Florida. The name "Orange Park" was chosen because of the abundance of orange trees in the area.
