Obejo, also known as Ovejo, is a municipality in the province of Córdoba, Andalusia, Spain. It is located in the Campiña Sur Cordobesa region, in the southern part of the province, at an altitude of 152 meters above sea level. The climate is typically Mediterranean, with hot summers and mild winters. The town has a long history, dating back to the Roman period, and its heritage includes a number of important historical monuments, such as the church of Santa María la Mayor and the castle of Obejo.
