Novospasskoye is a village in the Uljanovsk Oblast of Russia. It is located at the confluence of the Sviyaga and Volga Rivers, 130 km south of Uljanovsk. The village has a humid continental climate with warm summers and cold winters. It was founded in the 17th century and was originally known as Spasskoye. The village was renamed Novospasskoye in 1861. The village is home to the Novospassky Monastery, which was founded in the 17th century. The monastery is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
