Nong’an, Jilin Sheng, China

Nong'an is a county-level city in the southwest of Jilin Province, China. It is located at the northern foothills of the Changbai Mountains, on the banks of the Songhua River. The city has a humid continental climate, with cold, dry winters and hot, humid summers. Nong'an has a long history, dating back to the Neolithic period. It was an important trade center on the Silk Road and was later the capital of the Goguryeo Kingdom. The city is home to a number of historical and cultural sites, including the Nong'an Confucian Temple and the Nong'an Museum.
