Naurskaya is a town in the Naursky District of the Chechen Republic, Russia. It is located on the left bank of the Sunzha River, 32 kilometers (20 mi) northwest of Grozny. The climate is humid continental, with hot summers and cold winters. Naurskaya was founded in 1818 as a military outpost and grew into a town in 1967. It is home to a number of historical and cultural sites, including the Naurskaya Fortress and the Naurskaya Mosque.
