Náquera, Valencia, Spain, also known as Naquera, Nàquera, is a municipality located in the province of Valencia, in the autonomous community of Valencia. It is situated in the comarca of Camp de Túria, at an altitude of 225 meters above sea level, and has a population of around 6,000 inhabitants. The municipality covers an area of 38.7 square kilometers and is located approximately 25 kilometers northwest of the city of Valencia. The climate in Náquera is typically Mediterranean, with hot summers and mild winters. The municipality has a rich history and heritage, with evidence of human settlement dating back to the Neolithic period. Náquera was an important center during the Roman Empire and was later conquered by the Moors. After the Reconquista, it became part of the Kingdom of Valencia.
