Mulberry, Arkansas, is a small city located in the west-central part of the state, approximately 25 miles southwest of Fort Smith. Mulberry was founded in 1839 and was originally known as "Mulberry Station" due to its location on the Memphis and Little Rock Railroad. The city's history is closely tied to the railroad, and it was once a major shipping point for cotton and other agricultural products.
