Muang Phônsavan, also known as Phonsavan, is a town in Xiangkhoang Province, Laos, located at 19.4500000 latitude and 103.2166700 longitude. The town has a rich history and heritage, having been the site of a major battle during the Laotian Civil War. The town is also home to a number of archaeological sites, including the Plain of Jars, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
