Mosta, also known as Il-Mosta, is a city located in the northern region of Malta, approximately 9 kilometers northwest of the capital city of Valletta. Mosta enjoys a warm Mediterranean climate with mild winters and hot summers. The city has a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages, with significant heritage sites including the iconic Mosta Dome, one of the largest unsupported domes in the world, and the Ta' Bistra Catacombs, a complex of underground tunnels and chambers.
