Mosalsk is a town in Kaluga Oblast, Russia, located on the left bank of the Protva River, 100 km west of Kaluga. The town has a population of 4,149 (2010 Census). The town was first mentioned in 1408. It was granted town status in 1776. Mosalsk is home to a number of historical and architectural monuments, including the Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos (17th century), the Church of the Intercession (18th century), and the Church of the Annunciation (19th century). The town is also home to a number of museums, including the Mosalsk District Museum of Local Lore and the Mosalsk Museum of Military Glory.
