Möhrendorf is a municipality in the district of Erlangen-Höchstadt in Bavaria, Germany, located at the foot of the southern foothills of the Franconian Alb. The municipality has a population of around 5,000 and covers an area of 8.66 square kilometers. The average temperature in Möhrendorf is 8.5 °C (47.3 °F) and the average annual precipitation is 650 mm (25.6 in). The municipality was first mentioned in a document in 1194 and was granted market rights in 1398. Möhrendorf is home to a number of historical buildings, including the St. Bartholomew's Church, which was built in the 14th century.
