Minusinsk, also known as Minusinka, is a city in Krasnoyarskiy Krai, Russia, situated at the confluence of the Abakan and Yenisei rivers. It has a population of 72,296 as of 2010. Minusinsk has a long history dating back to the 17th century and is home to many historical and cultural sites, including the Minusinsk Museum of Regional Studies, which houses a large collection of artifacts from the region's past. The city is also a popular tourist destination due to its beautiful scenery and proximity to the Sayan Mountains.
