Milyutinskaya is a town in Rostov Oblast, Russia, located at the confluence of the Milyutinskaya and Grushevka Rivers. It has a humid continental climate with hot summers and cold winters. The town was founded in 1784 as a Cossack outpost and named after Count Mikhail Ilyich Miljutin, the Minister of War at the time. It played a significant role in the defense of the region during the Napoleonic Wars and the Russian Civil War. Today, Milyutinskaya is a small town with a population of around 10,000 people. It is known for its agricultural industry and its historical landmarks, including the Church of the Intercession and the Miljutin House.
