Měřín, formerly known as Wollein, is a small town in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It is located in the western part of the region, approximately 15 kilometers west of the city of Jihlava. The town has a humid continental climate, with warm summers and cold winters. Měřín has a rich history, dating back to the 13th century. It was originally a mining town, and later became a center for textile production. The town is home to a number of historical buildings, including the Church of St. Nicholas and the Town Hall.
