Massow is a municipality in the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. It is located in the south of the district, approximately 15 kilometers southeast of Waren and 25 kilometers northwest of Neubrandenburg. The municipality has a population of around 450 and covers an area of 15 square kilometers. The climate is temperate, with average temperatures ranging from -1°C in January to 18°C in July. Massow was first mentioned in 1226 and was granted town rights in 1304. The town has a rich history and heritage, including the 13th-century St. Mary's Church and the 18th-century manor house.
