Maner, also known as Maner Sharif, is a town in the Bihār state of India. It is located at 25.65°N 84.88°E, in the Patna district, on the banks of the Ganges River. The weather in Maner is tropical, with hot summers and mild winters. The town has a rich history, dating back to the 12th century when it was ruled by the Pala dynasty. It was later conquered by the Mughals in the 16th century and became a part of the British Raj in the 18th century. Maner is home to several historical sites, including the Maner Sharif Dargah, the tomb of a Sufi saint, and the Maner Fort, built by the Mughals.
