Mallare is a small town in the Liguria region of Italy, located in the province of Savona. It is situated in the foothills of the Ligurian Alps, at the confluence of the rivers Bormida di Spigno and Erro. The climate is mild, with warm summers and cool winters. Mallare has a rich history, dating back to the Roman era. The town was part of the Republic of Genoa from the 13th century until the 18th century. It was then annexed by the Kingdom of Sardinia and later by the Kingdom of Italy. Mallare's heritage is reflected in its architecture, which includes the 12th-century Church of San Giovanni Battista and the 16th-century Palazzo Doria.
