Lyndon is a town in Caledonia County, Vermont, United States, located in the northeastern part of the state. It has a humid continental climate with warm, humid summers and cold, snowy winters. The town was first settled in 1790 and was named after the town of Lyndon in Rutland County, Vermont. Lyndon is home to Lyndon State College, a public liberal arts college. The town is also home to the Vermont Institute of Natural Science, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the understanding and appreciation of the natural world.
