Løten, also known as Loiten, is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway, located about 20 kilometers south of Hamar. The municipality has a population of around 7,500 people and covers an area of 369 square kilometers. The climate in Løten is humid continental, with warm summers and cold winters. The municipality has a long history dating back to the Viking Age, and there are several historical sites in the area, including the Løten Old Church, which was built in the 12th century.
