Los Montesinos, also known as Els Montesins, is a municipality located in the Vega Baja del Segura region of the province of Alicante, Valencia, Spain. It is situated in the southern part of the province, near the border with the Region of Murcia. The town has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild winters. Los Montesinos has a rich history and heritage, dating back to the Middle Ages when it was a stronghold of the Moors. The town was conquered by the Christians in the 13th century and became part of the Kingdom of Valencia.
