Livanátai, also known as Libanatai, is a village in the municipality of Stylida in Phthiotis, Greece. It is located at an altitude of 140 meters and has a population of 1,232 (2011 census). The village is situated on the slopes of Mount Oeta, overlooking the Malian Gulf. The climate is Mediterranean, with hot summers and mild winters. Livanátai has a long history, dating back to the Byzantine period. The village was once part of the Frankish Duchy of Athens and later the Ottoman Empire. In 1830, it became part of the newly independent Greece. The village is home to several historical monuments, including the Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos, which was built in the 13th century.
