Livadiya is a small village on the southern coast of Crimea, Ukraine, with a population of around 1,000 people. It is located on the Black Sea coast, about 10 kilometers west of Yalta. The village has a mild climate, with average temperatures ranging from 10°C in January to 25°C in July. Livadiya has a long history, dating back to the 14th century. It was once a summer residence for the Russian tsars, and the Livadia Palace was built there in the 19th century. The palace was the site of the Yalta Conference in 1945, where the leaders of the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Soviet Union met to discuss the postwar world order.
