Łasin is a town in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship of north-central Poland, located approximately 120 kilometers (75 miles) northwest of Warsaw. The town has a humid continental climate, with warm summers and cold, snowy winters. Łasin was first mentioned in historical records in 1238 and received town rights in 1424. The town's heritage includes the Gothic Church of St. John the Baptist, built in the 15th century, and the 19th-century neo-Gothic town hall.
