Lakshettipet, also known as Lakhsetipet, is a town in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in the Adilabad district and is situated at an altitude of 180 meters above sea level. The town has a tropical climate with hot summers and mild winters. Lakshettipet has a rich history and heritage, dating back to the 12th century. The town was once a part of the Kakatiya dynasty and was later ruled by the Qutb Shahi dynasty. In the 18th century, Lakshettipet became a part of the Nizam of Hyderabad's dominions.
