Ladushkin, formerly known as Ludwigsort, is a town in Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia, situated on the banks of the Pregolya River, about 30 kilometers east of Kaliningrad. The town has a humid continental climate with warm, humid summers and cold, snowy winters. Its history dates back to the 14th century when it was a Prussian settlement. In 1945, after World War II, it became part of the Soviet Union and was renamed Ladushkin. The town is known for its well-preserved historic architecture, including the Church of the Holy Trinity and the former castle of Ludwigsort.
