Kuybysheve is a city in Ukraine, located in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. It has a population of 27,948 (2021 est.) and is situated on the banks of the Molochna River. The city was founded in 1786 as a military outpost and was named after the Russian statesman Valerian Kuybyshev. Kuybysheve has a humid continental climate with warm summers and cold winters. The city is home to several historical and cultural landmarks, including the Kuybysheve Museum of Local Lore and the Kuybysheve Art Gallery.
