Kusa is a town in the Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia, located at the confluence of the Kusa and Ay rivers. The town has a population of around 17,000 people and is known for its metalworking industry. The town was founded in 1754 as a copper smelting plant and has been a major center of metalworking ever since. The town is also home to a number of historical and cultural sites, including the Kusa Museum of Local Lore and the Kusa Art Gallery.
