Kuhardt is a municipality in the Südliche Weinstraße district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is located in the southern part of the district, on the German Wine Route, and has a population of around 1,900. The weather in Kuhardt is mild, with average temperatures ranging from 10°C in January to 25°C in July. The history of Kuhardt dates back to the Middle Ages, when it was first mentioned in a document from 1175. The village was part of the Duchy of Zweibrücken until 1794, when it was annexed by France. In 1815, Kuhardt became part of the Kingdom of Bavaria, and in 1946, it became part of the newly founded state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Kuhardt is home to a number of historical buildings, including the Protestant church, which was built in the 15th century, and the town hall, which was built in the 18th century.
