Kosh-Agach is a village in Altay Republic, Russia, located at the confluence of the Chuya and Argut Rivers. The village has a population of about 3,000 people and is the administrative center of Kosh-Agachsky District. The climate is continental, with cold winters and warm summers. The village was founded in the 19th century by Russian settlers and is home to a number of historical and cultural sites, including the Kosh-Agachsky Monastery and the Altai State Museum of History, Ethnography and Nature.
