Königsdorf is a municipality in the district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen in Bavaria, Germany. It is located at an elevation of 550 meters (1,800 ft) above sea level, and has a population of around 2,900 people. The climate is temperate, with average temperatures ranging from -2°C (28°F) in January to 18°C (64°F) in July. Königsdorf was first mentioned in the 11th century, and has a rich history that includes periods of rule by the Wittelsbach dynasty, the Habsburgs, and the Kingdom of Bavaria. The municipality is home to a number of historic buildings, including the Church of St. Martin, which was built in the 15th century.
