Kochubeyevskoye is a rural locality in Stavropolsky District of Stavropol Krai, Russia, located at the confluence of the Kochubeyevka and Khalyz Rivers, 44.6441700 latitude and 41.8452800 longitude. It has a humid continental climate with warm, dry summers and cold, snowy winters. Kochubeyevskoye was founded in 1786 by Cossacks from the Poltava Governorate and is named after General-in-Chief Viktor Kochubey. It is known for its Cossack traditions and historical heritage, including the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos (1824) and the Kochubeyevskoye Cossack Museum.
