Klang, also known as Kelang, is a coastal city in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. It is located at the mouth of the Klang River, approximately 30 kilometers southwest of Kuala Lumpur. The city has a tropical rainforest climate, with average temperatures ranging from 25 to 30 degrees Celsius throughout the year. Klang has a rich history and heritage, having been founded in the 15th century by the Sultanate of Malacca. The city was a major trading port during the colonial era and played a significant role in the development of Malaysia.
