Jvari is a historical monastery in Georgia, located on the left bank of the Mtkvari River, near Mtskheta. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important cultural monuments of Georgia. The monastery was built in the 6th century by King Vakhtang I of Iberia and has been a center of Georgian Orthodox Christianity for centuries. The monastery is also known for its beautiful architecture and its stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
