Jericho is a town in Chittenden County, Vermont, United States. It is located in the northwestern part of the state, about 10 miles (16 km) north of Burlington. The town has a population of 5,005 as of the 2020 census. Jericho was chartered in 1763 and is named after the ancient city of Jericho in the West Bank. The town is home to the Jericho Covered Bridge, which is one of the oldest covered bridges in the United States.
