Ischia is an Italian island in the Gulf of Naples, off the coast of Campania. It is located about 30 kilometers (19 miles) southwest of Naples and has a population of about 60,000. The island has a rich history, dating back to the 8th century BC, and is home to many historical sites, including the Castello Aragonese, a 15th-century castle that is now a museum. Ischia is also known for its thermal springs, which have been used for centuries to treat a variety of ailments.
