Inzigkofen is a municipality in the district of Sigmaringen in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is located on the Danube River, about 15 km (9.3 mi) southwest of Sigmaringen. The town has a population of around 3,000 people and is known for its medieval castle, which was built in the 11th century. The climate is temperate, with average temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) in January to 20°C (68°F) in July. The town has a rich history, dating back to the Roman Empire. It was first mentioned in a document in 770 AD, and it was granted town rights in 1309. The town was once a part of the Holy Roman Empire, and it was later ruled by the Habsburg dynasty. In 1806, it became part of the Kingdom of Württemberg, and it has been part of Germany since 1871.
