Ingoldingen is a municipality in the district of Biberach, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is located in the southern part of the state, about 20 km southwest of Ulm. The municipality has a population of around 3,000 people and covers an area of 27.4 square kilometers. The climate is temperate, with average temperatures ranging from -1°C in January to 19°C in July. Ingoldingen was first mentioned in 1275 and was part of the Duchy of Württemberg from 1395 to 1806. It became part of the Kingdom of Württemberg in 1806 and the German Empire in 1871. After World War II, Ingoldingen became part of the state of Baden-Württemberg. The municipality is home to a number of historical buildings, including the Schloss Ingoldingen, which was built in the 16th century.
